In my many years of working in the entertainment production industry, primarily as a Touring Lighting Director, I mentored students and other individuals who were beginning their pursuits of careers “on the road” and I would regularly be asked by these mentees for recommendations of books, websites, and other sources of information.
I often wished for one, simple website I could refer them to, one that would direct them to useful and pertinent information resources, vetted by myself and other live event industry professionals. The goal of Robin’s Roadie Resources is to become that site; to serve as a collection of helpful resources to anyone looking to learn more about entertainment production.
